I started my PhD in my forties. It was a challenge but I grew a great deal through the process. Overall, I am glad I did it.

Congrats, Kristen! PhD work is certainly taxing. I will pray for your studies as often as I remember.

In 2022, I had the pleasure of studying the Reformation under Dr. Timothy George in a one-week intensive at SWBTS. What a scholar! When will your book be released?

Congratulations again, Kristen! I’m so excited for you! Praise God for His provision and leading and affirmation through brothers and sisters. You are an encouragement to me, and this part of your journey no less. As a woman who, likewise, has a desire but no topic and also the blessing and challenges of being a wife and mother and helping to provide for our family, I’m excited to hear more about how you arrived at your topic and how the Lord has and will provide and accompanies you in this endeavor. I’m proud of you for facing down imposter syndrome and sharing with us. Be assured of my prayers for you. I love and miss all my Beeson people!

Thank you, Emily! It's so good to hear from you. I'm glad that by sharing my story it can encourage you. Likewise, I've been encouraged by women who are a little further ahead along the road from me. This season of little ones will eventually pass. Keep reading (when you can) and the Lord will be faithful to show you the next step. Hugs!
